December 16th

Threw The 7th International Piano Salon: All that Jazz with the Brazilian jazz pianist and composer Gisela Pinto Zincone at the Rose Garden Hotel.

December 2nd

Held the 2018 Teacher-Student Piano Recital with international and Myanmar students from age 5 to 16.  

October 6th

Hosted by the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office (TECO), with her students and traditional musicians, Ying-Hua performed at the Taiwanese Double 10th Festival.

October 5th

Performed by invitation at Music and Memory – a Black Tie Charity Event 2018. The five-star Sedona Hotel Yangon hosted the event event for the benefit of the Daw Khin Kyi Foundation, which was founded by deposed national leader Ms. Aung San Suu Kyi.

Ying-Hua had the honor of a photograph with Mr. Htin Kyaw, a former national president.

July 25th

Invited by Sedona Hotel, Ying-Hua performed alongside Myanmar traditional musicians and her students at the Moon Cake Tasting and Appreciation Dinner. 

June 8th~16th

As the founder of Philharmonic Society of Myanmar (later the Myanmar Musician League), Ying-Hua organized a 9-day activity for the second edition of the music festival and competition.

Nine artists from Taiwan, Singapore, and Myanmar participated. Activities for Myanmar students included one-on-one masterclasses, workshops, a student concert, a competition, and a final closing concert. These were all free-of-charge and open to audit.

Metamorphosis, the final themed concert, was held at the five-star Sedona Hotel Yangon.

April 27th

Ying-Hua’s Myanmar story was reported in Taiwan’s renown magazine, Business Weekly. The report was republished in several other media, including TVBS and SET News.

March 18th

Held The 6th International Piano Salon: France and Brazil with Brazilian jazz pianist and composer Gisela Pinto Zincone and Myanmar students at the Rose Hotel Yangon. 

February 8th

Travelled and performed at Musical Evening for Marionettes at Mandalay’s Marionettes Theatre hosted by a Myanmar student.

January 16th ~19th

Held Cool Season Week with Singaporean musicians to give masterclasses and the concert All about Love at the Yangon Gallery.
