Festival and Competition
The festival and competition is the musical conclusion of a year of activities.
It aims to enrich the musical scene in Yangon and to motivate
aspiring young musicians in Myanmar.
It is a platform for cultural exchanges and cooperation.
It creates a bridge of friendship through music.
It provides opportunities for Myanmar’s young talented students to
showcase and present their hard work during the year, to work with international musicians and to broaden their horizons.
It also assists students to go abroad to have further studies.

MML 2024
The first and second editions of music festivals and competitions were drafted under the name “Philharmonic Society of Myanmar” but later renamed “Myanmar Musician League” in 2019 in the 3rd edition.
The activities of MML are currently suspended indefinitely due to the ongoing circumstances in Myanmar.
